Farsoon Americas is expanding into Canada after establishing a distribution agreement with Indurate Alloys, a supplier of thermal spray, laser and PTA powders based in Alberta and Ontario, Canada. The partnership enables Indurate Alloys to distribute Farsoon’s open, industrial-grade additive manufacturing (AM) machines to Canadian customers. Farsoon says the agreement reflects its commitment to expanding its global reach and supporting the growth of the AM industry.
While Indurate Alloy is primarily a hardfacing supplier/manufacturer with more than 12 years of business experience, the company has always distributed and serviced the metallic powder-related equipment. Today, with established know-how and focused experience in the Canadian metal industrial market, Indurate is now including Farsoon’s metal and plastic powderbed fusion systems in its offering.
“Farsoon America is looking forward to building a strong relationship with Indurate Alloy’s professional technical sales team,” says Jim Braddick, sales director of Farsoon America. “We are dedicated to advancing AM in the Canadian region.”
As a company, Indurate says it is routinely looking for opportunities to expand into different but complementary markets. “Indurate Alloys Ltd. is proud to be selected as the Canadian Distributor for Farsoon Technologies,” says Lorne Chrystal, president and general manager of Indurate Alloys. “We look forward to working closely with Farsoon Americas Corp. in the Canadian AM arena.”
