• The Virtual Foundry developed its M300 Tool Steel Filamet material for fused filament fabrication to deliver unparalleled strength and versatility, while enabling compatibility with a variety of 3D printers. The material is a maraging steel crafted from a premium blend of iron, nickel, cobalt, molybdenum and titanium.
   
• America Makes names winners of EARTH Project totaling $1.2 million. Award recipients will explore sustainable approaches for reusing and recycling additive manufacturing materials and designs. Their initiatives are expected to make substantial contributions to reducing waste, conserving energy and mitigating carbon emissions.

  Insight Polymers & Compounding has launched two new low-gloss masterbatches for PLA and PETG fused deposition modeling (FDM) systems. Insight LAA112 Low Gloss PLA and Insight TCA112 Low Gloss PETG masterbatches reduce gloss and improve the aesthetic profiles of 3D printed objects with minimal to no impact on mechanical properties.
