Hybrid AM at Lower Cost: Metal 3D Printing on a Haas Machining Center

Brian Kristaponis joined the Phillips team in 2016 as an applications engineer for the federal division and—shortly after—became the applications manager. Brian and his team supported the U.S. government with all things Haas and additive. Brian and his team worked to develop the first Haas-Meltio hybrid in the summer of 2020. Since then, Brian now heads up the Phillips Hybrid division where he and his team focus on developing customer hybrid applications, building hybrid systems, training new customers and providing technical support.

Peter Genovese joined SolidCAM Additive in 2022 after working as a manufacturing engineer in the defense industry. With a decade of additive manufacturing experience in both career and hobby applications, Peter brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to SolidCAM.
