Materialise has developed several new modules for its Magics STL editor software to help increase efficiency and optimize the 3D printing process, regardless of the printer used. The Magics Structures Modules are designed for users of any 3D printing technology seeking to reduce weight and material usage in the design. The Magics Build Processor is designed to bridge the gap between 3D software and printer by reducing complexity to make AM technology from EOS, SLM and Renishaw more accessible to users. Magics SG+ is a support generation toolbox specifically for metal AM applications to help reduce build failures as well as time spent preparing data, building and finishing. Magics Sintermodule is suitable for users of non-metal powder bed technology seeking to automate part nesting and creating sinterboxes.
