Autodesk showcases Netfabb, additive manufacturing and design software that streamlines workflows to help move quickly from a 3D model to printed parts. At this year's Rapid, the company will demonstrate Netfabb's efficient build preparation tools, lattice and surface optimization capabilities (previously Autodesk Within), metal process simulation (formerly Pan Computing), and hybrid manufacturing tools for planning and modelling near-net shapes for additive processes.

Autodesk also exhibits PowerShape, a toolit for preparing complex parts for manufacturing. PowerShape integrates with scanning devices to capture 3D shapes and enables meshes to be converted into 3D models. Also on display will be PowerMill software for machining components with maximum efficiency and PowerInspect 3D measurement and metrology software for inspecting complex free-form shapes.
