Polymer additive manufacturer Chemson has developed 3D Vinyl, which it says is the world’s first PVC filament for 3D printing. PVC is characterized by its long life, sturdiness, price-performance ratio and high level of recyclability. According to Chemson, products printed with the 3D Vinyl filament will benefit from lower cost, durability, UV resistance, and weather- and fire-proof characteristics. 3D Vinyl was developed specifically for the manufacturing industry sector for applications ranging from prototypes to production of end components.
