HP is expanding across Asia and the Pacific by making one of its 3D printing solutions commercially available, partnering with companies to implement its technology and grow its materials ecosystem, expanding its 3D printing reseller program, and opening reference centers across the region.

In addition to making its Jet Fusion 3D Printing Solution commercially available to Asia and the Pacific, HP has partnered with two Chinese companies, Shining 3D ePrint and Infinite 3D Printing, to deploy HP 3D printing solutions. Another Chinese company, Sinopec Yanshan Pterochemical Company, intends to join HP’s materials ecosystem to collaborate on developing polyolefin-based powders for HP 3D printers based on Multi Jet Fusion technology.

The company is also expanding its 3D printing reseller program into the region by partnering with over a dozen new companies including Aurora, AM Korea, ECSS, Evok3d, Eye2Eye, Infinite 3D Printing, FormX, Huxen, Hyunwoo Data, Shining 3D ePrint, Trustworthy, Wenpoo and 3D Pro, and opening 3D printing reference and experience centers in major cities across the region. These centers enable testing and qualification of new 3D printing use-cases in a controlled environment, which the company says provides the customer with a simpler path to advance from prototyping to full-scale 3D production.
