2018 Additive Manufacturing Events Seeking Proposals

Manufacturing professionals are invited to submit abstracts for two events: the 3D Printing Workshop at NPE – The Plastics Show and the Additive Manufacturing Conference at IMTS.

Additive Manufacturing has issued a call for papers soliciting proposals for two 2018 events: the 3D Printing Workshop taking place May 9 at NPE – The Plastics Show, and the Additive Manufacturing Conference happening September 11-12 at IMTS 2018. 

Attendees at these events represent companies of all shapes, sizes and specialties, ranging from multinational OEMs to independent contract machine shops; aerospace to medical to consumer products; owner to executive to engineer to operator. The one commonality is an interest in evolving the application of industrial additive manufacturing technologies.

Abstracts for both events are due March 16, 2018. Suggested topics include:

  • Application success stories
  • Materials
  • Qualification
  • Postprocessing
  • Quality
  • Unique/unexpected applications
  • Software
  • Design
  • 3D-printed tooling
  • Production via AM
  • Justification
