C Advanced manufacturer Fathom has announced new same-day and next-day options for its 3D printing services. The announcement follows the company’s recent acquisition of a proprietary data analytics software for digital manufacturing. Fathom says its continued investments in business intelligence tools and software development are a part of its strategic commitment to making the industry faster and more efficient.

"We're helping designers and engineers innovate even faster by rolling out same-day and next-day service," said Rich Stump, co-founder and principal at Fathom. "Iterative cycles can happen at lightning speed when your morning idea is in your hands by the afternoon."

Fathom will use PolyJet 3D printing technology to deliver same-day and next-day service. PolyJet is said to provide high resolution and excellent surface finish in parts. The company also offers fused deposition modeling (FDM) as a next-day service. FDM offers benefits of durability and engineering-grade thermoplastic material options.
