Girl Day – otherwise known as Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day – is a day in which schools and educational programs across the country partner with manufacturers and engineers to educate young women on the potential for careers in STEM fields. Private companies, individuals and organizations can participate in girl day events by signing up to be a mentor through DiscorverE – the nonprofit that organizes these events.
