The Cool Parts Show Awarded Best Use of Video in Niche Media 2020 Nichee Awards

The Additive Manufacturing team won the Best Use of Video category for “The Cool Parts Show" in Niche Media's 2020 Nichee Awards. Hosted by editor-in-chief Peter Zelinski and senior editor Stephanie Hendrixson, each episode focuses on a cool 3D printed part to explore how it was made and what it reveals about the possibilities of additive manufacturing.

Gardner Business Media won the 2020 Nichee Award in the category of “Best Use of Video” for The Cool Parts Show. Presented by Niche Media, the Nichee Awards are for target-audience publishers in B2B and consumer spaces. Gardner was the only industrial publication to win an award this year.

Among the reasons cited for winning this honor were the show’s targeted content, high production quality, and rapid growth in terms of views and channel subscribers. Awards host Ryan Dohrn, Industry Partnership Manager for Niche Media, noted “The show is technical without being dry, and smart without taking itself too seriously.” Dohrn went on to declare “It is an excellent use of the medium of video.”
