Fagor Automation’s Additive Pack, featured on the 8065 CNC system, enables open design and multi-process support. The 8065 CNC control is the ideal answer to both pure additive machines and hybrid machines. The controller regulates melting pool temperature, regular layer deposition, laser/wire arc power, continuous toolpath movement and powder/wire flow.
The Additive Pack includes: a Technological Materials/Parameters Tables System where information related to materials and additive process is organized and customizable to provide simple and intuitive management of all process related data; Pulse Width Modulation used to control an operating cycle of the laser signal; the ability to control the laser power depending on the speed of the laser nozzle path; The 8065 control system which can integrate an OEMs full closed loop process control without the need of another PC.
