Additive manufacturing is still in its infancy and is a long way from reaching its full potential in industrial applications, argues Eric Johnson, senior staff engineer at John Deere. In a talk at the 2017 Additive Manufacturing Conference, he will focus on the challenges of using AM for end-use parts, and what is being done to overcome them. He will also show how AM is implemented in a global business and review other applications of the technology, including prototyping parts, tooling and replacement parts.

The presentation takes place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11.
