Products created by additive manufacturing have the ability to revolutionize the manufacturing industry and create major market changes, but implementing additive has its challenges. Users often struggle in finding the right application. The Consulting Group of EOS works to help OEMs find pathways to success and benefit fully from AM’s potential.

Güngör Kara, director of global application and consulting at EOS, will discuss additive manufacturing best practices and lessons learned from various projects at the upcoming Additive Manufacturing Conference, co-located with IMTS 2016. Kara will explain how industrial 3D printing offers a new dimension of freedom to product developers and designers but also offers new options to reshape manufacturing and supply chain setup. The presentation takes place Tuesday, September 13, at 11:30 a.m. in Sky Ballroom B, room W375-B.
