Additive manufacturing (AM) for industrial production is continuing to grow, bringing with it new challenges such as machine-to-machine variation, powder management, quality and safety. GE Additive, with its capabilities as a technology company and domain experience in data analytics, machine learning and automation, is positioning itself as an expert in industrial additive manufacturing.

Sam O’Leary, product management leader of GE Additive, will share some of the key technologies necessary to industrialize AM at the Additive Manufacturing Conference taking place September 11 and 12, 2018 in Chicago. The presentation will cover topics such as multilaser arrays, inert gas and filtration systems, automation and digital platforms for industrial additive manufacturing. O’Leary will also discuss materials and share a real-world case study to talk attendees through the steps needed to integrate additive technologies into their industrial manufacturing processes.
