Industrial computed tomography (CT) provides a nondestructive testing (NDT) method which can be ideal for the challenges of internal inspection for 3D-printed parts. Jesse Garant Metrology Center has invested in CT systems for expanding its service to additively manufactured parts, particularly focusing on the launch of high-energy CT scanning technology in 2017.

Jesse Garant, president, will give a presentation about high-energy CT scanning during the 2018 Additive Manufacturing Conference taking place September 11-12 at IMTS 2018 in Chicago. The presentation will include the benefits of this technology as well as the types of analyses available with high-energy CT scanning that can be used to optimize the additive manufacturing process. Learn more on Tuesday, September 11, at 1:30 p.m.
