Adopting additive manufacturing (AM) has many potential benefits, but is not the right fit for every organization or application. Many organizations are adopting additive manufacturing for real part production, but how does additive compare to injection molding? That is a question that Bonnie Meyer, application engineer at Evolve Additive Solutions, will answer in her presentation at the Additive Manufacturing Conference + Expo, taking place in Austin, Texas from August 27-29.

Meyer will pop the hood of Evolve’s Selective Thermoplastic Electrophotographic Process (STEP) technology during her session. The presentation will address materials, speed, quality, versatility and cost considerations, the five factors to consider when calculating the pros and cons of additive manufacturing for different processes. Come to listen and better understand if AM is the right choice for your organization.

The session will take place on Wednesday, August 28, at 2 p.m.
