3YourMind’s Agile MES is said to include real-time data connections with machine manufacturers such as EOS, OneClick Metal, Tridative, Aconitiy 3D Ultimaker, and the partners developing the umati machine tool standard, like SLM Solutions. Additional vendors will be added over 2020 to connect all major machine manufacturers into a single digital production overview.
Using real-time machine data is said to add efficiency to production with real-time status updates and an alert system. 3YourMind does put a focus on standardizing the data set in order to create a digital structure for AM quality assurance and tracking using digital systems. These dovetail with other work within the DIN association and America Makes to establish clear production standards. Machine connectivity aims to support pushing production data into a fully automated workflow which will speed up AM-production and will increase its ability to be economically competitive, the company says.
