3D Systems’ latest addition to its materials portfolio, FabPro Flexible BLK, a durable, flexible material, produces tough 3D printed parts with the look and feel of molded polypropylene.
The material’s properties – including 93% elongation at break and good impact strength – are said to enable a wide variety of prototyping, functional testing and low volume production applications. According to the company, in unnotched Izod impact strength testing to ASTM D4812 standards, the FabPro Flexible BLK material did not break.
FabPro Flexible BLK was designed specifically to be used in conjunction with 3D Systems’ FabPro 1000 entry-level SLA 3D printer.
