Mark Albert, editor-in-chief of Modern Machine Shop (sister magazine to Additive Manufacturing) reports that “growing” parts or part features with additive manufacturing processes was a theme at EMO 2015. Mark caught a few examples while touring the halls at the fairgrounds in Milan, Italy, that are representative of industry's maturing perspective on additive manufacturing.
