Cideas Provides Range of 3D Printing Capabilities

Rapid 2017: The service bureau has recently expanded its polymer 3D printing capability with four new systems.

Additive manufacturing and 3D printing service bureau Cideas highlights new manufacturing capability. The company purchased and installed four new systems in the first quarter of 2017, consisting of a Stratasys J750 full-color, multi-durometer PolyJet system; two 3D Systems ProX 800 SLA machines; and a Carbon M1.

With these additions, Cideas now has 30 large-frame AM systems in-house. The company serves a range of customers including those in the industrial design, medical, aerospace and consumer electronics industries. Services include design verification models; fit, form and function; short run production; and finishing services.
