Novanta Laser Processing Integrator Packages enable faster system setups | Rivelin Robotics leads Project CAMPFIRE to develop automated postprocessing solutions for regulated industries
Here are a few important recent news items:
- Novanta’s configurable laser processing Integrator Packages help OEMs and system integrators get machines and in-line laser processing systems up and running faster and easier. The complete factory pre-aligned and calibrated subsystem includes a CO2 laser source, scan head, controller, software, beam expander, connector cables and mounting hardware, all from a single source.
- Rivelin Robotics is leading Project CAMPFIRE (Certified Additive Manufactured Parts Finished with Intelligent Robotics Engine) to create a complete digital postprocessing solution for the automated finishing of parts. The project is funded by Innovate UK and focuses on automated finishing of flight parts, orthopedic implants and gas turbine components produced using metal additive manufacturing processes.
- The Visa Cash App RB Formula One team is partnering with Roboze to produce end-use parts for its single-seat racing cars. The aim is to reduce weight and create parts with geometries that are impossible with other techniques.
